theraputic massage
60, 75, and 90 minute sessions
Eastern and western modalities are integrated to treat the whole person.
A thorough intake is done before treatment so that I can understand and address your health history and goals, safely and effectively.
More complex issues may benefit from longer treatment times and a series of regular sessions.
These therapeutic sessions are done on a massage table and often use oil on skin with professional draping.
perinatal massage
60, 75, and 90 minute sessions
Prenatal massage is a safe and relaxing way to support a healthy pregnancy and labor outcomes, specifically addressing low back pain, joint pain, sciatica, mood changes, shortness of breath, chest/breast soreness, and fatigue. The “feel good” hormones released by massage are experienced by both mother and baby.
Prenatal massage is generally done in a side-lying position with body pillows, or I can adapt to any position that is comfortable for the client.
Postpartum clients also greatly benefit from massage while healing from labor. In addition to addressing musculoskeletal injuries, aches and pains, massage is proven to reduce stress hormones and improve mood to help with postpartum depression and fatigue.
I am expertly trained and certified by Kiera Nagle/ MaMassage to provide pregnant clients with safe, satisfying massage experiences in a judgement free space, as well as prenatal stretches, stabilization exercises, and advocacy for birth planning.
Zero balancing therapy
60 minute session
Zero Balancing, or ZB, is the foundation of all of my work in massage, as it emphasizes deep, specific contact and being fully present with the client, without judgement.
Developed by Fritz Smith, acupuncturist and doctor of osteopathy, ZB is a unique system of focused pressure points, gentle traction, compressions, supported holds, and energy work, addressing the structural and energetic alignment of bone, the deepest layer of ourselves.
ZB is a gentle yet powerful body-mind therapy that can address specific musculoskeletal injuries, posture, and areas of tension. ZB also supports the body’s own self-healing mechanisms and emotional balance by engaging the parasympathetic nervous system.
Inducing a meditative state of calm and clarity, this work is great for relieving emotional stress, chronic pain, neuropathies, migraines, and sleep issues.
ZB is done lying supine on a massage table, fully dressed in comfortable clothing.
shiatsu/thai massage
60, 75, and 90 minute sessions
I combine Shiatsu and Thai techniques to include yogic stretching, joint mobilizations, and acupressure to restore balance to the 5 elements according to traditional Eastern medicine theories.
These sessions are performed on padded floor mats and through comfortable clothing. Working on the floor allows for more freedom of movement and creative transitions. As a modern dancer, I enjoy the natural flow and physicality of floor work, making use of my hands, feet, elbows, knees, and body weight.
These sessions can be deeply restful and restorative or playful and dynamic, exploring new movement pathways. As always, I perform a thorough intake and calibrate my touch to support your individual needs.

Intraoral massage is an advanced technique that massages the muscles of the face and jaw from inside the mouth. Wearing sterile non-latex gloves to gently massage the masseter, pterygoids, and buccal (inner cheek) muscles, this massage can be incorporated into your custom therapeutic massage session to target TMJ pain and tension, improve lymphatic drainage in the face and neck, increase blood flow to the skin and face muscles for a radiant glow, boost natural collagen production, lift, tone, and sculpt the face and jaw, and stimulate acupoints in the face.
Do not have this treatment if you have recently had Botox, fillers, facial threads, facial or neck surgery, are pregnant or trying to conceive, undergoing cancer treatments, suffer from infectious disease, epilepsy, active herpes/cold sores, acute dental issues, uncontrolled thyroid disease, lymphatic system infections, or take medications or herbs that thin blood/cause skin to easily bruise.
